How Our Frozen Shipping Works
Our empanadas are frozen at peak freshness and shipped in insulated packaging with dry ice.
Large insulated box
Frozen delivery uses one large insulated box measuring 16.5 × 13 × 9 inches. The shipping minimum is four five-packs, or three five-packs plus at least one sauce. Orders requiring more capacity use additional large insulated boxes.
Shipping schedule
Ships Monday–Wednesday with dry ice. Orders placed after Tuesday at 12pm ship the following Monday.
Transit: Arrives frozen in 2–5 days by zone.
Frozen delivery rates by zone
Frozen delivery is not free shipping. One checkout line is used for frozen orders. Rates by destination zone:
- Florida: $39
- East + Central: $55
- Mountain: $59
- West Coast: $65
When your order arrives
Bring the package inside promptly and place the empanadas directly into your freezer. Dry ice may have fully evaporated during transit. Do not touch remaining dry ice with bare hands.
Questions or issues
If your order arrives warm or damaged, contact support@santanaslatinfoods.com within 24 hours and include your order number and photos.
Cancellations and address changes
Cancellation or address-change requests must be submitted within six hours of placing the order. After six hours, changes cannot be guaranteed.
